Neil Chambers – Lay Member Governance

Neil Chambers

Neil has been part of the CCG since the CCG started in shadow form in July 2012. Neil is a former tax inspector and lives in Norton Canes.

Neil's career has been varied, having been involved in various business investigations and management posts which included managing risk and governance for offices throughout Wales and the midlands. More recently he has been working on a voluntary basis for two Walsall-based charities providing financial and benefits advice. He has a particular interest in patient and public engagement and has attended patient participation groups (PPGs) on behalf of the CCG.

Neil sits on both Cannock Chase CCG and Stafford and Surrounds CCG Governing Bodies to ensure that decisions are made with patients' health and wellbeing at heart and that money is spent wisely. Neil chairs the Audit Committee and Remuneration and Terms of Service Committee.
