About us

Be prepared for August Bank Holiday and order your repeat prescriptions now

As the August Bank Holiday approaches we want to remind patients to be prepared and to check what medications they need.  We encourage patients to collect their repeat prescriptions in plenty of time as GP practices will be closed on Monday 28 August and many pharmacies will have limited opening hours that day.

If for some reason patients do run out of medication, they should speak to a community pharmacist or to contact NHS 111 for advice. Information on which community pharmacies are open during this period can be found online.
