New film helps explain 111 service

NHS 111 is the non-emergency service staffed by highly trained advisers, supported by healthcare professionals and available 24/7, 365 days a year with free calls from mobiles and landlines. NHS England has worked with self-advocacy groups to produce a film helping people with a learning disability, autism or both, to understand more about NHS 111. The film is also being used during training for the services’ advisers to help them better understand the needs of people with a learning disability, autism, or both.
