About us

Anticoagulation Services

The Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) are currently in the process of reviewing the service for patients who are prescribed anticoagulant medicines and have encouraged those patients that have used or who are currently using the local anticoagulation services to share their experiences.

We value your views and opinions to help to shape the future provision in the county, including the suggested improvements you might like, and we were particularly interested to receive feedback from patients and their family / carers, with experience in this area of service provision.

Patient engagement was initially undertaken during July and August 2019 and then a further period of engagement was undertaken during September and October 2019.

By evaluating the results of participation through public and patient involvement, the CCG can learn lessons for the future and continuously improve performance. In the   pdf summary of findings document (366 KB) you can review this project to understand more about what patients said, and what we did as a result of that feedback.

If you think that we could have done better with this engagement activity, then please email your suggestions for improvements to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
